Taecyeon was suddenly breathing heavily when a figure appeared before his eyes. He wanted to avoid her presence. It was too much for his raging hormones to handle. That one gorgeous lady was making his heart race, and he was overwhelmed with guilt. Ok Taecyeon was well aware he could not afford to fall. It was just too wrong.

It was easier said than done, unfortunately, for the boy who had gone love sick. No matter how much he tried, his vision would get back to her. They would always wander around to search for her. It was as if his beautiful pair of chocolate brown eyes was owned by Min Sunye, and that he had no power to keep them away from the supposed owner.

Unable to resist the urge too strong for his own good, he walked hastily to grab a seat by the bar. His mind was getting chaotic because of her, and he was determined not to let it show. He couldn't. He musn't. Taking a sip of the alcohol, he tried to calm himself down.

"Yah, Taec! Why are you being such an anti-social?" Khun's voice interrupted his running thoughts. "We're doing the toss!"

Taecyeon forced himself to turn around to face the whole crew, failing to avoid gazing at Sunye's beautiful face in the process. "I'll get there later."

"What is wrong with him?" He heard Junsu ask.

Rightly so. It was a celebration, after all. They were partying at the VIP club to celebrate Wonder Girls’ successful concert there in Shanghai. It was not a time to sulk alone. Needless to say, Taecyeon had chosen the wrong time and date to be anti-social. But they didn't understand why he acted that way; those people did not know.

"It's alright, I'll get him," the sweet, soft voice he had grown to love so much said.

He shook his head at her actions. NOOOOOO.

By that time, his heart was beating so fast that it was going to leap out of his chest in a matter of seconds. If he had a choice, he would have wished to sink to the ground or evaporate into thin air. Taecyeon did not want to deal with her at that moment. He was afraid he was going to lose it.

"Oppa, what's up with you? Something bothering you?"

It was already the very end of his lips, those words he had always wanted to tell her. But he managed to restrain himself.. He just did not know until when he was going to be able to do that.

"Heh," he tried to grin.

"Sunye-ah.. I.."

Again and again and again and again..nuh eh maleh ddo sok a weh geulunji molla—

His voice again. Taecyeon heaved out a heavy sigh - which Sunye failed to notice.

He felt defeated as he saw the glimmer in her eyes when she answered her cell phone. It had to be him. Only Jay could make her smile a thousand watts, no one else.

Sunye smile teasingly at Taecyeon as she started talking to her boyfriend on the phone. If only she knew it was breaking his heart into pieces. If only she knew how the man sitting beside her felt. If only she understood.

"Oppa, Khun told you that? That boy is always overreacting. Sure I did a sexy number, but I kept my clothes on, alright? I wouldn't--"

He kept watching her as she frowned. Initially, he was more than happy that his best friend was dating her. Taecyeon was beyond delighted. He knew that Jay had liked her since the first time he laid eyes on her, and when Sunye accepted him, it was nothing more than he deserved. However, Taecyeon did not expect himself to fall for Sunye. He never would have guessed he would fall fast and hard for her. Now he couldn't bring himself back again; He was already too smitten with her. There was no cure for that.

"I'm here with Taec oppa. For some reason, he's being a little emo," Sunye said before laughing out loud.

That sweet, cheery laugh that always got to him.

"Maybe it's because Jinae unni isn't here. You know how much he likes her," she continued, aware that Taecyeon was listening.

He sighed, again. Jinae never had a place in his heart. It had always been Min Sunye engraved on it. But she had no clue; no one did.

".. Okay, I'll talk to you later. Love you." She finally ended the call after a good 15 minutes or so.

Love you... It took Taecyeon all his might and will power to not crumble and succumb to letting it all out. He was this close to confessing everything.

"Oppa! Stop drinking!" Sunye felt annoyed when she noticed he was drinking too much.

Taking his right hand, she tried to grab him all the way to the corner where the whole JYPE family were at. No way were they going to miss the fun.

Taecyeon could only hold on for so long... It was inevitable.

The next thing they knew, he had turned her around and planted his lips onto her rosy, pink ones. It all happened so fast, and it caught Sunye by surprise. It took her a few seconds to recover, but when she realised what they were doing, she abruptly tried to shove him away. Needless to say, she was too weak for his firm grasp on her. Nevertheless, she soon found herself lost in the kiss; her guard had melted. It was no longer just him who was enjoying the bliss.

Taecyeon did not care what would happen. He didn’t give a damn what people would say. He just wanted time to freeze and stay in the moment.
